What would it take to change the world?
Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
Service above self
is more than a slogan to The Chestnut Hill Rotary Club.
Founded in 1995 and serving the Philadelphia neighborhoods of Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy and surrounding areas, our Club undertakes projects that benefit our local community and have a focused impact on international needs. Every week we get together to help each other and others through understanding of individual points of view on current topics, professional networking and various local & international charity projects.
The mission of Rotary International, a worldwide association of Rotary clubs, is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards, and to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
