public image improvement grant instructions

The Rotary District 7450 Public Image Committee is offering an opportunity to selected clubs to apply for a grant to help improve, redesign or renew the club’s public image efforts in the areas of websites, technology, and/or social media platforms. Please read the instructions below before completing the application. Public Image grant requests are accepted by invitation only.

Why is public image important?

Public image is an essential tool for clubs to be successful in attracting and retaining members and supporters. While Rotary clubs have made a significant difference around the world, many people still don’t fully understand who we are as People of Action and what makes us unique. If we do not tell the public accurately who we are, their perceptions will be made up of half-truths or no understanding at all. You’ll find many free resources at the Rotary Brand Center to help you promote Rotary in your community and show the world that we’re people of action

A club’s strong public image will:

1. Expand people’s understanding of what we do.
2. Increase membership, volunteers, partners and donors.
3. Helps Rotary recognition
4. Inspires current member
5. Expands our reach
6. Makes members proud
