Chestnut Hill Rotary received the Club Excellence Award this week from Rotary International’s 2024-25 President Stephanie Urchick for “fostering a positive experience for its members and reflecting the value of Rotary.”
To be eligible for this award, clubs must be in good standing and achieve a series of 13 or more goals pertaining to membership development, community service, strategic planning and public image. The goals are aligned with Rotary’s Action Plan which the club recently adopted in the Strategic Plan:: Enhance Participant Engagement; Increase Our Impact; Expand Our Reach; and Increase Our Ability to Adapt.
“This past year, your club demonstrated a commitment to achieve its goals, which ultimately helps strengthen Rotary and shape our future,” wrote Urchick.
“I want to thank every member who helped us achieve our goals for last year,” said Jay Pennie, 2024-25 Club President. The club has seen nearly a 50% increase in membership recently. Chestnut Hill Rotary was one of five of the 40 clubs in the Southeastern PA area who received the award.
